Worrying has always fascinated me.  Why do we do it?  What purpose does it serve?   When we realize it’s so bad for us, why don’t we just stop worrying, you know, just resolve to give it up completely?

To get some perspective on the subject, I’ve been researching advice about worry … or rather how not to worry … from some of the greatest thought leaders of all time.  Okay, you caught me.  Some of the quotes I’ve included on this list are from people we might not automatically put in the “thought leader”  category … yet the wisdom of their words is spot on!

    True, worrying and overthinking silently makes me procrastinate and slowdown my progress. Shadonna Richards is right.
