In a previous post here, I talked about an Outrageous Act of Self-Love: Taking Off Your Masks. I thought I’d do a quick follow-up to the post, with another encouragement to live authentically.
It’s your life and you don’t serve yourself or anyone else by pretending to be someone you’re not. It might work for a while, but in the long run, it leads to unhappiness and regret. To find happiness in your life, you must be who you were born to be … not some lame imitation of another … not a fake version of you that you believe others want you to be.
So, I wrote a poem on the subject that reflects my experience. I hope it brings a little inspiration to you.
